Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Master - ASUS X99 Deluxe.Intel X99 Rig (Officially Decommissioned, Dead CPU returned to Intel) Your motherboard requires two CPU / EPS 8-pin connections, so you would need a different PSU anyways. I guess trying adapters and Y splitters is just not worth it, I'll just put it up for saleĪ 8-pin CPU power connector IS an 8-pin CPU power connector.Ī trapezoidal pin will fit in EITHER a square, or matching trapezoid socket.Ī square pin will ONLY fit in a square socket. Apparently instead of 8pin (2x4) I got 8pin (4+4) cables. I'm really lost in this terminology not gonna lie. When I realised that I got the wrong PSU model I thought I would test everything with only one processor running, turns out I can't even properly connect that one. I thought 8pin was 8pin. And yes, I can fit one 4pin into that motherboard cpu connector but the other one doesn't fit (to have both act as a 8pin) I don't think it should be like that and I don't want to accidentally fry anything. With a dfferent shape layout (square, trapeze kinda thing). They are brand new, it looks like that just because of lighting haha. Any help is appreciatedĨ pin EPS connector with two 4 pin connectors on its other end. Are there any adapters that I could buy and use instead of purchasing a new PSU and selling this one? I will attach some photos and links below. Long story short my motherboard has two 12V 2x4 pin connectors and I can't power even a single one.My PSU has 1x EPS/ATX12V 8(4+4) -pin (as it says in the manual lol). There are 2 cables marked with "CPU" on them but as I said the shape doesn't fit. The PROBLEM is I made a mistake when ordering my PSU.Initially I was going for EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G2,750W, Fully Modular, but what I got is EVGA 750W B3 fully modular. Main power connector fits just fine but it's impossible to connect cpu cables to 12V processor core voltage connector (2 x 4 pin) on my motherboard. My motherboard is Intel s2600cp with two xeon E5-2670 processors and 32gb of ram for now. Anyway I decided to build a computer myself. If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won't chargeI have very little experience and every computer I owned so far was a laptop so please don't be too harsh on me. If your device still won’t power on or charge, take your device, charging cable, and charging adapter to an Apple Retail Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider for evaluation.
